Dilute 1:20 for 100 μM working concentration for use during in vitro methylation of peptides and recombinant or native proteins.
Testing
All lots of S-adenosylmethionine are tested for the ability to convert 30 ng of an arginine-rich peptide to a sufficient methylation status that is detectable by western blotting using Anti-mRG.
Storage
Thaw one tube for single use only. Store remaining aliquots at -80°. Stable for 1 year after the date of preparation printed on the label.
