ANTI-mRG is an IgG-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody that specifically binds methylarginine peptides and proteins from complex biological fluids and cell and tissue extracts.
Protein A Sepharose chromatography.
Tris Buffer pH 8 + 0.02% sodium azide.
Western Blotting; Immunoprecipitation; Immunocytology.
All lots of ANTI-mRG exhibit avid reactivity with 10 ng of a methylarginine peptide by western blotting, but no detectable reactivity with 100 ng of an arginine peptide, the sequence of which is identical except for the replacement of the methylarginine residues with arginine.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 4° C or prepare appropriately sized aliquots and keep at ≤ -20° C.
